In Southern California – specifically Orange County – car meets are a dime a dozen. But once we got together with Brekkie Car Club for our inaugural CARS & COFFEE+ event, things were going to be different.
On July 6, Hypedrive – our automotive vertical – held its first ever car event with local premium car culture brand Brekkie Car Club and Stanton food market-turned-venue Rodeo 39 for CARS & COFFEE+, a play off of automotive enthusiasts’ OEM+ styling. For OEM+, it’s important to maintain core elements of a car with just additional upgrades, enhanced driving capabilities, and added style; this was the core ethos for our meet, adding style and curation to the cars and coffees to which have become ubiquitous.
The turnout for CARS & COFFEE+ spoke for itself – with limited parking of 300 spots, the venue quickly filled over capacity, moments after the 8:00am start time. In fact, upon 7:45am the main lot was already at capacity, causing guests to overflow both into the neighboring lots as well as double and even triple parking within Rodeo 39. Vendors also saw unprecedented attendance and visitations to their booths, promoting both their fashion brands and apparel lines, as well as automotive parts companies and manufacturers.
In total, an estimated 500+ cars made their way to the event, with over 1,000 spectators and guests walking the grounds.
Thanks to our venue holders Rodeo 39 Public Market, our collaborative partner Brekkie Car Club, and our vendors listed below for the incredible morning. Additionally, thanks go out to all the guests – parked and pedestrian equally – for supporting our initiatives and enjoying the July 6 morning with us.
