How Nollywood Yoruba Actress Orisabunmi & 2 Family Members Died Of COVID-19 Complication In Ibadan Oyo State Nigeria

Here is a brief but sad update on the demise of veteran Nollywood actress Folake Aremu popularly called Orisabunmi who passed away on Tuesday the 5th of January 2021  at the age of 60 at her home in Ibadan, Oyo state Nigeria.

According to our source, there is an outbreak of COVID-19 at the family home of the actress.

Our source said Orisabunmi’s younger sister Janet Ademola died on Friday the 8th of January 2021 of shortness of breath, the same condition that killed her sister who was in close contact with her on Tuesday.

Janet Ademola, the last child of the family was her sister’s PA before her demise.

The 3rd member of the family that died of COVID-19 complication (identified as shortness of breath) is Orisabunmi’s big brother, Mr Steve Onisola who died on Thursday the 7th of January 2021.


The deceased and few of their family members reportedly celebrated the holiday together at their family home few days to their untimely death.

It is still unsure if contact tracing will be done to curb these COVID related deaths that is ravaging the country as we speak.
