Iconic Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee of fashion brand Sabyasachi is collaborating with high street giant H&M on a collection titled “Wanderlust”. Set to launch in India, the UK, and a few select H&M international stores, Wanderlust includes rich handcrafted textiles applied to Western and traditional Indian silhouettes.
“I am happy to announce the new date for the collaboration with H&M, as it gives us the opportunity to spread the Sabyasachi aesthetic to a wider audience in India and worldwide,” designer Sabyasachi said in a press statement. “Due to the complexities of the Covid-19 situation, we had to put the collaboration on hold but I’m eagerly looking forward to launching this ‘ready-to-wear’ collection that will bring relaxed sophistication to everyday life in an understated yet glamorous style.”
Sabyasachi and H&M’s Wanderlust collection features a full wardrobe of womenswear, menswear, and accessories that use Indian textile and print traditions created by the Sabyasachi Art Foundation. Stay tuned for the Wanderlust launch on 12 Aug., and keep reading for a preview of the collection.
