Hit-Boy has is following up his 2020 solo release The Chauncey Hollis Project with SURF OR DROWN.
Clocking in at approximately an hour and five minutes, the 21-track project features guest appearances from the likes of Nas on “The Tide,” Jay 305 on “State Champ,” Dom Kennedy on two tracks including “CORSA,” Curren$y on “Tony Fontana III,” The Alchemist on “Slipping Into Darkness” and more. SURF OR DROWN also arrives with the instrumental of all the songs, with Hit-Boy tweeting, “Surf or Drown is a Rap / Instrumental album. If yall make songs to the beats send em over.” He continued, “#idothisfortheculture and this is just Vol.1.”
