The area of low pressure that brought us a mix of rain and snow yesterday will continue to push off to our east into Nova Scotia while a secondary, dry, cold front will sweep through this morning. We’ll wake up to mostly cloudy skies and areas of fog this morning before high pressure begins to ridge in from the Great Lakes. As the high pressure pushes in we can expect fog and clouds to gradually clear into the afternoon. High pressure will remain in control over the weather through Sunday. Expect a slightly warmer and less breezy day with mostly sunny skies. Highs will reach the upper 20′s north to around freezing closer to the coast. Winds will become southerly at around 5-10 mph. Our next weather maker doesn’t impacts us until the middle of next week.
