Harry Styles continues to make headlines across the globe with his newly released album, Harry’s House and single “As It Was.”
The album has become 2022’s fastest-selling record in the U.K. Not only does Styles now hold the No. 1 album, he also holds the No. 1 track in many countries including the U.S., Canada, Germany, Australia, Netherlands, Italy, Ireland, New Zealand, Switzerland, and Belgium. The album went to No. 1 in Norway, Finland and Denmark, as well.
The rare feat adds to his record as the first British male artist to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with his firs three albums. According to Billboard, Harry Styles joins The Beatles “as the only British acts ever with four concurrent Hot 100 top 10s.” This week marks the single “As It Was” fourth week at No. 1. Harry’s House climbs to over 521,500 equivalent album units earned at the end of May, marking the biggest week for albums in the U.S. this year.
With his new album, Styles has also become the third-ever artist to maintain the top three spots on the singles chart with “As It Was,” “Late Night Talking,” and “Music For A Sushi Restaurant.” All 13 of the album’s tracks are in the top 15.
