Halle Berry Reveals She Did Not Give Permission for Drake To Use Her Photo as "Slime You Out" Cover Art

Halle Berry clarified that she did not give her permission for Drake to use a photo of her for the cover art of “Slime You Out,” his latest single featuring SZA.

Taking to Instagram to explain her side of the story, the actress shared a post with the words “Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy … even if you’re a woman!” written on a pink background. One comment pointed out that Drake had probably bought the rights to the photo from Getty Images, to which Berry replied, “Cuz he asked me and i said NO that’s why. Why ask if you intend to do what you want to do ! That was the [f*ck] you to me. Not cool You get it?”

Berry also previously responded to a fan who asked her about the use of her photo where she first revealed that Drizzy “[d]idn’t get my permission,” adding, “That’s not cool I thought better of him!” She also added another comment that read, “hence my post today. When people you admire disappoint you you have to be the bigger person and move on!”

Drake nor his team have yet to respond to Berry’s comments.

The photo that was used as the cover art dates back to the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards and showed Berry “getting slimed” during the awards show.

Elsewhere in music, Drake is delaying the release date of For All the Dogs.
