Pioneering Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama has become known for his ornate illustrations of women in domineering and erotic poses. This spring, the artist’s new work CYBER LADIES’ WORLD is being celebrated on display at the Almine Rech in Paris.
Sorayama’s inclination to draw women started at an early age and his passion has culminated in his latest offering of the female figure shown in a comprehensive bionic format. 13 of the artist’s works will be on display, including three acrylic renderings of Marilyn Monroe, a floating bronze statue, and a steel and aluminum statue.
The CYBER LADIES’ WORLD exhibit is currently on display at the Almine Rech in Paris, until May 28. More information and tickets can be found on the organization’s website.
