HAIM recently appeared on BBC Radio 6 host Lauren Laverne’s music segment following a headlining show at London’s All Points East. Speaking to Laverne, the sister trio of Alana, Danielle and Este Haim reflected on the 10th anniversary of their debut LP Days Are Gone and teased some new music in the works, potentially with British producer Jai Paul.
Regarding their future plans, one of the group’s members said that they’ve been “we’ve been working with some cool people.”
“We played Jai Paul earlier, we might’ve been in the studio with him,” another added.
The sisters went on to say that they “may or may not have been in the studio with him” but “cannot confirm or deny.”
Paul headlined Coachella earlier this year, ten years after the leak of his debut album Bait Ones. The producer has kept out of the public eye over the past decade, with the festival marking his first ever live performance.
As for the HAIM collaboration, fans will have to wait and see what the trio and Paul have up their sleeves.
In other music news, King Krule released his “You’ll Never Guess What Happened Next” live performance film.
