Gwyneth Paltrow attended Gucci‘s Love Parade fashion show wearing a replica of her vintage ’90s suit by the brand. Hosted on Tuesday, 2 Nov., on Los Angeles’s Hollywood Boulevard, Paltrow’s suit was inspired by one from her own wardrobe, which the star previously wore to the 1996 MTV Video Music Awards.
Whatever’s in the Goop, it sure is helping Paltrow age backwards. The star’s vintage red Gucci suit was designed by previous creative director Tom Ford for the brand’s autumn/winter 1996 collection. The suit worn by Paltrow for Gucci’s 2021 Love Parade show was designed by current creative director Alessandro Michele for Gucci’s 100th anniversary collection in April 2021. To confirm how iconic this look is for Paltrow’s wardrobe, the star styled the suit just like she did in 1996 — with a light blue oxford shirt, red heels, and a slick low bun.
