Gucci Mane Young Dolph Tribute Track “Long Live Dolph” Receives Visual

Gucci Mane has dropped a visual for “Long Live Dolph,” just a few days after its audio release. The song, which is the closing track to Mane’s compilation mixtape So Icy Christmas, pays tribute to his late friend Young Dolph who was fatally shot outside of a local bakery in his hometown of Memphis last month.

The music video, which is helmed by Omar the Director is a nostalgic look at Gucci and Dolph’s friendship. The video showcases never-before-seen photos of the two rappers as well as footage from the Memphis artist’s memorial service. The sentimental to the track highlight the legacy Young Dolph has left behind. Gucci mourns the loss of his dear friend, “R.I.P. to Dolph, long, long live the legend/From Memphis to the 6, they felt you in the bricks/The day you died, it broke my heart, a day I won’t forget/One thing you know, you’re missed, one thing you know, we pissed.” Metro Boomin and Zaytoven laid down the beats for the track.
