Gucci Mane and Kodak Black’s history of collaboration goes a long way back. The two rappers first officially hit the studio together in 2016 for “Vibin in This Bih,” Just two years later, they linked once again alongside Bruno Mars for the single “Wake Up in the Sky.”
Since then, they’ve appeared on several tracks together. Their newest partnership, out for streaming now, is “King Snipe,” a club banger hinged on Black’s distinct trappy sound.
“I triple crossed them ’cause I seen it was planted / Truck had me out, must didn’t know how to count,” Mane raps. “Told her ring up, they didn’t know the amount / Expensive new ferries, I couldn’t even pronounce.”
In an accompanying video, Mane and Black party at the club, performing in front of a purple-lit crowd of fans. Later, in the parking lot, they hang out in front of flashy cars.
Just last month, Mane released the So Icy Boyz: The Finale mixtape, spanning a total 80 tracks and clocking in at nearly four hours. Despite the expansive project, the rapper shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon.
