Grammys 2023 Nominations Revealed: See the Full List

Nominees for the 2023 Grammy Awards have been revealed, with Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Adele, and Brandi Carlile among the artists vying for the most trophies.

Now in its 65th year, the annual ceremony recognizes the best albums, songs, and music released between the eligibility period (October 1st, 2021 – September 30th, 2022).

With nine nominations, Beyoncé has become the most nominated Grammy artist of all-time, breaking a record previously held by her husband JAY-Z. Thanks to her latest opus Renaissance, this year Queen Bey is up for Album of the Year and Best Dance/Electronic Album, while “Break My Soul” is in contention for Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Dance/Electronic Recording.

K. Dot follows close behind with eight nominations. Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers is nominated for Album of the Year and Best Rap Album, while “The Heart Part 5” is vying for Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance.

Adele secured seven nominations; her latest release 30 is up for Album of the Year, while “Easy on Me” is nominated for Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Solo Pop Performance.

Other artists earning multiple nominations include Brandi Carlile (seven), Harry Styles (six), Lizzo (five), Taylor Swift (four), and ABBA (four).

Best New Artist nominees include Anitta, Wet Leg, Måneskin, Latto, Omar Apollo, and Tobe Nwigwe.

In the alternative music categories, nominees include Arctic Monkeys, Big Thief, Björk,Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Wet Leg, and Arcade Fire.

Meanwhile, Turnstile, IDLES, The War on Drugs, Ozzy Osbourne, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Machine Gun Kelly, and Spoon are in contention for Grammys in the rock music categories.

The 2023 Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday, February 5th at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The event will be aired live on CBS and Paramount+.

New category changes this year include the additions of Songwriter of the Year, Non-Classical; Best Alternative Music Performance; Best Americana Music Performance; Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games and Other Interactive Media; and Best Spoken Word Poetry Album. Additionally, there will be a new special merit award given out for Best Song for Social Change.

Another big change: In order to be eligible for a Grammy, albums must contain greater than 75% playing time of newly recorded music; the previous eligibility rule was 50%.
