The biggest night of music is all set to make a grand return in 2024 as the Recording Academy has announced key dates and location for next year’s Grammy Awards ceremony.Taking to their official Twitter handle, the Recording Academy has shared that the 66th Annual Grammy Awards will take place at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena on February 4, 2024. The nominations for the coveted trophy will be announced on November 10, 2023.”We can hear the music already, can you? The 66th #GRAMMYs nominees will be revealed on Nov. 10th, 2023 ahead of the Music’s Biggest Night’s return on Feb. 4th, 2024, which will air LIVE on @CBS from @cryptocomarena. Who do you think will receive a nomination?” the Recording Academy tweeted.

On their website, they revealed that the 2024 Grammys ceremony will “air live (8:00-11:30 PM, LIVE ET/5:00-8:30 PM, LIVE PT) on the CBS Television Network and will stream on Paramount+”
Additionally, the Recording Academy has outlined the eligibility period for the 2024 Grammys. They revealed it to be from October 1, 2022, to September 15, 2023, which means Taylor Swift’s ‘Midnights’, released on October 21, 2022, is eligible in the big categories, along with her upcoming album ‘Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)’.According to Variety, following a meeting with the board of trustees, annual updates to the rules and guidelines were announced earlier in June. They added three new categories: best African music performance, best alternative jazz album and best pop dance recording.In a major change, the top four categories — album, song, record of the year and best new artist — were reduced to eight nominees from 10. The Recording Academy also instituted a rule addressing AI, declaring that only human inventors are eligible for Grammy awards.
The Recording Academy is yet to reveal the name of the host for next year’s Grammy Awards. The 2023 ceremony was hosted by South African comedian Trevor Noah.
