Ghost have released the trailer for their upcoming feature film Rite Here Rite Now, as well as advance tickets for the theatrical screenings and pre-order details for the original soundtrack.
The trailer offers a first glimpse at what fans can expect from the pseudo narrative-concert film that “fully immerses viewers in the technicolor melodrama” of the band’s “vaunted live ritual.”
The film was culled from footage from Ghost’s two sold-out shows at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles in 2023, and most of the trailer is comprised of clips from the concerts. The now iconic song “Square Hammer” plays throughout, with an adaptation of its refrain serving as the film’s title.

Ghost and the filmmakers made sure the trailer didn’t give away too much. There are some dramatic cutaways to key characters in the Ghost lore, a brief bit of super-imposed animation, and other easter eggs for devout fans. But we mostly see hi-fi concert footage in the minute-long teaser.
Rite Here Rite Now is set for a worldwide theatrical release on June 20th and 22nd, and you can pick up tickets and see showtimes via the film’s website.
Along with the trailer, the band also shared pre-order information for the original soundtrack, an 18-song offering that will be available on double-LP vinyl and CD. Pre-orders are ongoing via this location and include early access to the live version of “Absolution” from the Kia Forum gigs.
