G-Eazy on Wednesday revealed the tracklist for his upcoming album These Things Happen Too ahead of its scheduled release on Friday, September 24.
The 19-track record employs guest vocals from Lil Wayne, YG, Ty Dolla $ign, E-40, Demi Lovato, Anthony Hamilton, DaBoii, Marc E. Bassy, ShooterGang Kony and several others. Production credits are handed to Hit-Boy, Hitmaka, OG Parker and 808 Mafia’s NonStop Da Hitman.
Earlier this month, the San Francisco rapper first announced the album with the release of “The Announcement,” though the song does not appear on the upcoming record’s tracklist. Last week, G-Eazy put out the first single to appear on These Things Happen Too: “Breakdown” featuring Lovato.
“Feel like I’m breakin’ in places they put the pressure on/I’m the one in my circle they all dependin’ on,” he raps on the lead single. “To do it though, I need these drugs I’ve become dependent on/Someone tried to confront me, now we don’t get along.”
The new album will arrive as the sequel to G-Eazy’s breakout album, These Things Happen, which was released in 2014. Since then, the artist has put out several records including When It’s Dark Out, The Beautiful & Damned, B-Sides and Everything’s Strange Here.
In more music news, Rihanna says she is “experimenting” with her next album.
