You heard that right, chef — FX‘s The Bear is officially returning for a third season.
“‘The Bear,’ which wowed audiences in its first season only to achieve even greater heights in season two, has become a cultural phenomenon,” Nick Grad, president of FX Entertainment, said via Variety. “We’re so proud to partner with Christopher Storer, Joanna Calo, Josh Senior, and the rest of the creative team, as well as the brilliant cast led by Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. What they and the crew have done is truly remarkable, and we and our partners at Hulu join fans in looking forward to the next chapter in the story of ‘The Bear.’”
Season two of the comedy-drama saw the kitchen crew transform the dingy, rundown The Original Beef of Chicagoland restaurant into the fine dining spot known as The Bear. Its first season is currently nominated for a total of 12 Primetime Creative Arts and Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for White’s portrayal of Carmy, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for Moss-Bachrach’s Richie, Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Edebiri’s Syd and Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for Storer.
