KSI has released his hotly anticipated sophomore album All Over the Place, the successor to his 2020 debut LP, Dissimulation. The British artist was joined by Future and 21 Savage on the second track of the new album, “Number 2.”
“Number 2 is a song where the stars aligned,” KSI said of the collaboration in a press release. “From getting Future’s verse to 21 Savage’s verse ya boy did the impossible and brought them together on a banger.”
Over the past year, KSI, whose real name is Olajide ‘JJ’ Olatunji, has been cementing himself in the music industry, broadening his reach beyond that of YouTube, where he first made his name known over 10 years ago by posting gaming commentary. Olatunji still remains a member of the YouTube group the Sidemen while continuing to work on music.
With the new album, KSI wants to show fans that he’s improved, and that a year later, he’s on “more comfortable on the mic” and “a lot more experimental.” Other featured artists on the tracklist include Anne-Marie, Craig David, YUNGBLUD, Polo G and Lil Durk.
To coincide with the release of All Over the Place, KSI will perform a livestreamed show on July 17, with appearances from some of the artists featured on his album and others, including his former boxing opponent Logan Paul.
