American Idol contestants DeShawn Goncalves and Madison Watkins believe they’re the “perfect” pair during Hollywood Week.
On Monday night’s (March 22) episode, the two singers discuss their budding friendship and blended personalities on camera ahead of their performance of Rihanna‘s 2012 hit “Stay,” featuring Mikky Ekko. And you can watch it all below before the new episode airs.
“We’ve been having so much fun together, like this is my new best friend,” Watkins says over their goofy dance and rehearsal clips, where she shows off her “crazy” personality by throwing some Southern twang into “Stay” and throwing Goncalves off with her request to get matching tattoos. “Her personality is top-notch. She’s really friendly,” Goncalves adds.
