Freddie Gibbs has enlisted Rick Ross for his newest single, “Ice Cream.”
Clocking in at two minutes, the collab is produced by Kenny Beats and hears the three put their own spin on Raekwon‘s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx…. track of the same name, with Beats flipping fragments of the sample RZA utilized in the original. “Ice Cream” also arrives with an accompanying music video directed by JMP, which sees Gibbs speeding in an ice cream truck while surrounded by beautiful women and linking up with Ross as the snow falls.
In 2021, Gibbs shared to HYPEBEAST that his upcoming album Soul Sold Separately (SSS) will feature the biggest names in music including Pusha T, Lil Baby, Rick Ross, Pharrell, the Neptunes, Puff Daddy and Hit-Boi. “Triple S, album of the f*cking year, man. That’s all I gotta say,” he said.
