After showing out at Childish Gambino‘s Bando Stone & The New World New York City listening party last weekend, Fousheé followed up with some big music news of her own. Her new album – what she’s revealed to be called Pointy Heights – is en route.
As revealed casually in an Instagram post, Fousheé kept details brief, yet to reveal a specific release date for the project, noting it’s set to arrive in August.
She broke the news with a photo of the album cover, writing “presenting ‘pointy heights’ the album coming aug…”
Pointy Heights will mark Foushee’s third studio album, arriving a little less than two years after her last LP – which also served as her last offering of new music – softCORE.
Fousheé is set to appear on Childish Gambino’s forthcoming final album, dropping next Friday, July 19, on which she’ll contribute to a couple songs including “Steps Beach” with Steve Lacy and “Runnin’ Around.”
Stay tuned to Hypebeast for more specific updates on Pointy Heights as they transpire.
