Ford Takes It Back to 1967 With Brittany Blue “Heritage Edition” Mustang Shelby GT500

Ford has just introduced a new 2022 Mustang Shelby GT500 that pays homage to the original 1967 Shelby GT500.

Dubbed the “Heritage Edition,” the entire GT500 sees the exclusive Brittany Blue paint job, although it will cost an additional $10,000 USD to have racing stripes added to it. The exterior sees GT500 branding, and is powered by the standard GT500 5.2L supercharged engine that puts down 760 hp and 625 lb-ft of torque on 93 octane fuel. There’s also plenty of stopping power thanks to massive 420 mm front brake rotors with 6-piston Brembo calipers.

The “Heritage Edition” is available now for order when it will cost around $79,000 USD which includes destination and gas guzzler tax.

In other automotive news, Ferrari’s new BR20 fastback is an aggressive rework of the GTC4Lusso.
