FKA twigs has dropped off a new video for her Caprisongs track “Oh My Love,” directed by Aidan Zamiri. The visual, which sees twigs receiving several treatments in a beauty salon, marks the latest Caprisongs track to secure a video, following “Meta Angel,” “Papi Bones” (ft. Shygirl) and “Jealousy” (ft. Rema).
“Everybody knows that I want your love / Why you playin’, baby boy, what’s up,” she sings while getting an acrylic manicure and speaking with a nail artist.
Caprisongs, which was released in January of this year, boasts 17 tracks and includes features from The Weeknd, Jorja Smith, Daniel Caesar, Shygirl, Rema, Pa Salieu, Koreless, Tobias Jesso Jr., Fred again.., Mike Dean, Warren Ellis and more.
Alongside the record’s release, twigs shared a detailed statement describing the project, which read, “bronzer in the sink, alco pop on the side, a cherry lolly, apple juice when you’re thirsty, friends in the park, your favourite person, that one sentence somebody said to you that changed everything, a club pre-game, your bestie who is always late but brings the most to the party, meeting a friend at the airport, just togetherness. And my world: London, Hackney, Los Angeles, New York City and Jamaica.”
Meanwhile, the 34-year-old artist last week released a short film titled PLAYSCAPE, which honored the International Woolmark prize finalists with looks from Ahluwalia, EGONLAB, Jordan Dalah, MMUSOMAXWELL, Peter Do, RUI and Saul Nash.
