EA Sports has just dropped a new trailer for FIFA 22, showcasing some of its gameplay as well as its next-gen HyperMotion technology.
Motion capturing 22 professional players in their element, the introduction of HyperMotion will create more realistic and fluid gameplay alongside EA’s proprietary machine-learning algorithm, which scanned through more than 8.7 million frames of advanced match capture to program new animations in real-time. The end product is a much more accurate and organic representation of how footballers and the football itself move and interact on the pitch.
HyperMotion aside, the upcoming title will also offer a range of new and immersive features while retaining some of the old fan favorites across the game’s Career Mode, VOLTA FOOTBALL, Pro Clubs and the massively popular FIFA Ultimate Team. Fans will be getting a complete goalkeeper system rebuild, a new Create a Club option in Career Mode, reimagined gameplay in VOLTA FOOTBALL, and the introduction of FIFA Ultimate Team Heroes.
For the FIFA fans out there, FIFA 22 will arrive on the PlayStation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Google Stadia and PC on October 1.
Elsewhere in gaming, Horizon Forbidden West has reportedly been delayed until 2022.
