You’re not alone. About 92 million tons of waste each year is clothing-related, and clothes-related waste makes up half a million tons of microplastics globally.
Luxury fashion expert and consultant Jerrimiah James joined Atlanta News First to talk about a sustainable approach to accessing new styles without adding to the waste.
James is hosting a clothing exchange in Buckhead on Thursday, Aug. 24. The event invites fashion lovers to network, indulge, and exchange items they love, but no longer wear.
