The happy new addition to the family comes more than two years after Fabolous was charged with aggravated assault and terrorist threats after he allegedly punched Emily seven times in the face, and threatened her father and brother.
Fabolous struck a plea deal in March 2019 and did not spend time in jail, according to TMZ. The rapper then had to take part in a “pretrial intervention program” for a year and have a monthly check in with the court.
“I apologize for coming across in the light I wouldn’t want to be represented in,” he said in an interview with HOT 97’s Ebro in the Morning in December. “I don’t know anything else to really [say]. People make their opinions. It’s hard to, after the fact, change somebody’s opinion on seeing a video of something, because people see with their own eyes and they make their own judgment. So all I can I do is apologize for being in a light that’s not showing [my] best self.”
