The official BTS book has finally arrived. Prepared and written over several years, Beyond The Story: 10-Year Record of BTS offers fans a printed look at the “vivid stories that BTS members have walked through, their effort, hardship, and growth starting from the band’s first gathering to becoming the 21st-century pop icons,” according to HYBE.
Weverse Magazine editor-in-chief Myeongseok Kang wrote the book, highlighting the band’s musical journey from an objective perspective through several interviews with band members. Notably, the book, which is divided into seven chronological chapters, required three years of research and more than two years of interviews to complete.
The book starts on December 24, 2010, when Jeong Hoseok (J-Hope) arrived in Seoul and met with Min Yoongi (SUGA) in their dorm. It then chronicles the stories of how the rest of the band members met one another, before delving into their memories from their notable projects, including their debut album 2 COOL 4 SKOOL, THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MOMENT IN LIFE series, the LOVE YOURSELF series, the MAP OF THE SOUL series, the anthology album Proof and more.
“It captures the honest feelings and the behind-the-scenes stories that were never-before-told, and that’s where the book’s title BEYOND THE STORY comes from,” HYBE adds.
Beyond the Story comes in 23 languages, including Korean and English. The book is now available to shop on its official website for $27 USD.
