Headbangers, get ready to raise your fists because Excision has just announced the official release date for his highly-anticipated Downlink collaboration titled “Resistance,” which will be released on Thursday, June 18th, 2020. The ID was first tracked down by a fan back in October after Excision released his two-hour Lost Lands 2019 set.
From the preview below, it’s clear the call-to-action single will ignite a fire in the bass music community due to its echoing, ominous sirens, which guide the way for the heart-pounding drums to transport the listener to a world of bass destruction.
All proceeds from the single will be donated to the Equal Justice Initiative, an organization that works to combat mass incarceration, excessive punishment, and racial inequality.
Excision and Downlink have been shaking rails with their thunderous dubstep sound since as early as 2010. Since then, they’ve gone on to release dozens of singles and also formed the dubstep supergroup Destroid.
“Resistance” will be released on Thursday, June 18th, 2020. To pre-save the track, follow this link.
