Everything We Know About TOMORROW X TOGETHER's New Album The Name Chapter: FREEFALL

Get ready, MOA: following an absolutely stellar headlining set at Lollapalooza, a bouncy summer collaboration with the Jonas Brothers, and a successful string of EPs, TOMORROW X TOGETHER are officially gearing up for a comeback. Yes, Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai will be returning with new music in mid-October.

We’ll be updating this guide as soon as new information becomes available. Here’s what we know about TXT’s fall 2023 album so far.

What Is the Title of TXT’s New Album?

Get ready to spiral, because we’re officially entering freefall. According to the comeback teaser dropped on August 29th, the new EP is titled The Name Chapter: FREEFALL. The video shows the dreamy logo from the TEMPTATION project spinning out and shifting colors — it has a bit of a comic book vibe. Watch the quick teaser below.

What Is the Release Date for TXT’s New Album?

The Name Chapter: FREEFALL will be released on October 13th — Friday the 13th, to be exact. Pre-orders will be available beginning August 30th. More album details are expected to arrive via Weverse and BIGHIT MUSIC in the coming days.

When it comes to specifics for the rollout, TXT’s agency, BIGHIT MUSIC, has only commented, “The exact comeback schedule will be officially announced later on.” However, we do officially know that this will be the next EP in The Name Chapter series, following spring’s TEMPTATION effort.

What’s On the Tracklist for TXT’s New Album?

TXT have not yet shared any details as to what the tracklist looks like for this autumn project, but, according to some users who are pre-saving the project on Apple Music, it appears to consist of nine tracks.

Additionally, when asked about FREEFALL over Weverse, Yeonjun confirmed “many” b-side songs on the project.

While we wait for more details, feel free to re-visit our May 2023 cover story with the guys — and you can even take a box set home from the Consequence Shop if you want. (They’re now shipping!)
