Everrati, known for its modern classic Porsches builds, has unveiled its latest creation, a zero-emission homage to the Type 964 RSR 3.8. This electric vehicle blends the heritage of the iconic Porsche (964) 911 with advanced EV technology, offering a sustainable and exhilarating driving experience.
The original Type 964 RSR, launched in 1993, is a revered model in Porsche’s history, known for its rare, race-ready design, featuring a lightweight, turbo wide-bodied frame. With only 51 units of this variant ever produced, the 964 is a highly sought-after collector’s item.
Everrati’s redefined example starts with an expertly restored 911 (964) chassis, which originally featured a narrow body. The maker has transformed it into a high-performance, lightweight powerhouse, eliminating the rear seats, adding a rear roll cage and installing lightweight seats made with low-carbon leather from Bridge of Weir Leather. The car’s exterior boasts carbon-fiber bodywork, including a larger rear spoiler inspired by the original 964 RSR and 18-inch wheels from HRE, further enhancing its track-ready appearance.
Underneath this stunning exterior lies an OEM-grade 63kWh battery pack paired with high-performance electric motors. This Gen2 powertrain surpasses Everrati’s previous iterations with advanced cooling, refined drive controllers and software, offering over 200 miles of emission-free range and a 0-60mph acceleration in just 3.7 seconds.
For driving enthusiasts, the car features TracTive suspension – a premium, electronically controlled active and adaptive system that optimizes driving dynamics on both road and track. The vehicle is also equipped with modern comforts like Apple CarPlay and both AC and DC fast charging capabilities, making it viable for short-spirited drives or longer touring adventures.
Pricing for Everrati Type 964 RSR 3.8 is available upon request via the manufacturer’s official site, interested collectors can also use the site to reserve their own build or request a test drive.
