Euphoria is officially HBO‘s second most-watched TV show just after Game of Thrones.
According to reports, the total viewers for the episodes in the show’s second season is now averaging 16.3 million viewers, marking a new high for any HBO series in the past 18 years with the exception of Game of Thrones. As of writing, almost 19 million viewers in the US have watched the season two premiere. Sunday’s season two finale also drew a total of 6.6 million viewers.
Variety previously reported that Euphoria’s per-episode-viewership increased almost 100% as compared to its first season after the first four episodes of the second season aired. It also reached a new series high when it dropped a new episode during Super Bowl LVI.
