The African bad gyal, Tiwa Savage has released her much-anticipated extended play project called “Water and Garri“.

On ‘Water & Garri’ Tiwa blends her afro music or her ‘Garri’ to R&B and brings the musical worlds together in her heartfelt signature style. ‘Water & Garri’ is also a classic meal served hot or cold and is enjoyed across Nigeria by all ages classes.

Having had the unique opportunity of spending her formative years across three continents, Tiwa’s musical influences are pulled from her primary years spent in Lagos, Nigeria, her teenage years a young adult in London, England and her college years in the United States. Here her love for Afrobeats, R&B/Soul and pop music fully formed.
