Eminem opens this week’s Billboard 200 at No. 1 with the record-setting The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce).
The concept album earns 281,000 equivalent album units in its first week, including 164,500 in streaming equivalent album units (220.08 million on-demand official streams of the tracks), 114,000 in album sales and 2,500 in track equivalent album units. Coup de Grâce gives Em his 11th chart-topper and ties him with Bruce Springsteen, Barbra Streisand and Ye for the fifth-most No. 1s on the chart. The record also marks the biggest sales week for a rap album in 2024, and is the year’s second-largest sales week for a digital album behind Taylor Swift.
Also debuting on the chart this week are ENYPHEN with Romance: Untold at No. 2 with 124,000 equivalent album units, Clairo’s Charm at No. 8 with 47,000 equivalent album units and Megan Moroney’s Am I Okay? at No. 9 with 43,000 equivalent album units.
Elsewhere in this week’s top 10 is Zach Bryan at No. 3, Taylor Swift at No. 4, Morgan Wallen at No. 5, Billie Eilish at No. 6, Chappell Roan at No. 7 and Noah Kahan at No. 10.
