The multi-talented Ella Loudon recently made her debut as a singer with the song “Dreams”.
Ella, a US-based British actress, model and now artist, paired this song with a monochromatic, retro visual that highlights her multifaceted artistry. The video was directed by Samantha Scaffidi, with creative direction from Ella herself.
Powered by her jazz-inflected vocals, the artist explores people’s growing tendency to keep up with trends (social, consumerist, etc), instead of looking for inspiration from within.
“I wrote it as a way of dealing with the world’s absurdity. I get overwhelmed by the abundance of information, and it can be hard to stay grounded and so taking the piss out of it helps,” explains Loudon.
