When Hypebeast spent the day with Eem Triplin in December ahead of his STILL PRETTY show in Manhattan, the rapper was readying his next move – and shopping with KidSuper‘s Colm Dillane. Three weeks later, he’s dropped off a new cut entitled “stephanie,” which finds the emerging rapper deep in his feels.
Over a low-key piano beat, the rapper reflects on a past relationship. “Ashley was never my b*tch / and Stephanie was always his / I’m guessing it was just my turn that fire made the whole bridge burn / I can be hard-headed, real stern / but f*ck my man you live and you learn,” he slides on the chorus, while he gets tattooed backstage at a show.
“run tha music video up to 10k likes in a day and im jus drop another,” he wrote in an Instagram caption.
As for what else Eem Triplin’s got cooking in the new year? “MORE PAIN 2024.”
