Eduardo Franco joins Kyle Meredith to talk about starring in Jake Johnson’s Self Reliance, a Hulu film that follows a disillusioned man who receives an invitation to win a massive cash prize by taking part in a reality TV game on the dark web.
The Stranger Things actor talks about how he landed the part and how he achieved the right tone for his character, as well as his thoughts on the bigger message of the movie and if he would get into a limo if Andy Samberg offered him a cryptic ride. Franco also speaks on being cast in the upcoming A24 movie Y2K, and gives insight on if his Stranger Things character Argyle will return for Season 5.

“I haven’t gotten a phone call,” he admits between laughs. “This isn’t me, like, trying to keep a mystery. Like, dog, I haven’t gotten a phone call …Maybe they’re too busy working, I don’t know.”
