Post Malone and Eddie Vedder joined forces for an unexpected on-stage collaboration during the Reportin’ For Duty benefit concert in Shelbyville, Tennessee on Saturday night. The two performed covers of Pearl Jam’s “Better Man” and Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down.”
The duet took place at the Humble Baron at the Nearest Green Whiskey Distillery, described as “the world’s longest bar.” Now in its second year, the tribute show is an intimate concert that celebrates the late comedian Leslie Jordan while raising funds for EB Research Partnership (EBRP). The benefit also featured the talents of Jelly Roll, The War And Treaty, Ruby Amanfu, Jake Wesley Rogers, and Dan Spencer.
Vedder, Pearl Jam’s frontman, co-founded EBRP with his wife Jill. The non-profit global organization is dedicated to funding research to treat and cure the skin disease Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).

I was 12, 13… and he played this song, we were driving around. He played it — I’ve been thinking about that a lot.” He added that he thinks about his brother, who he describes as a “beautiful man,” every time he hears the song.
