Just last week, a police officer from Alabama who bears a striking resemblance to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson went viral across social media.
Patrol Lieutenant Eric Fields of Alabama’s Morgan County Sheriff’s Office has taken the Internet by storm and has now been called as The Rock’s doppelgänger since he has a similar look and build as the professional wrestler. The police officer seems to be in good spirits with the running joke and welcomes the playful interactions with his community.
Of course, The Rock has caught wind of the comparison and took to Twitter to share his thoughts. Johnson wrote, “Oh sh*t! Wow. Guy on the left is way cooler. Stay safe brother and thank you for your service.” The Rock also invited Fields to one day have a drink of his own Teremana with him. Take a look below for the full response.
Oh shit! Wow.
Guy on the left is way cooler.
Stay safe brother and thank you for your service. One day we’ll drink @Teremana and I need to hear all your “Rock stories” because I KNOW you got ‘em ????? #ericfields https://t.co/G38tOr68cW— Dwayne Johnson (@TheRock) August 31, 2021
