Comi-Con International: San Diego 2022 saw the first trailer for next year’s Dugeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.
The fantasy adventure doesn’t hit screens until next year but he trailer offered the first glimpse of Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez and Regé-Jean Page in action, as a gang of thieves who have accidentally unleashed the “greatest evil the world has ever known” and set about fixing it.
Set to Led Zeppelin’s Whole Lotta Love, the trailer also offers a glimpse of Hugh Grant’s villain, Forge Fletcher and establishes a light-hearted tone that was sorely lacking from Dungeons & Dragons’ previous big-screen outing back in 2000.
Writing duo Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley – who scribed Horrible Bosses, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Game Night – represent two-thirds of the scriptwriting team and have also directed the film.
Elsewhere in Entertainment, Amazon Prime drops full trailer for Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
