Drake‘s Certified Lover Boy has returned to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200, officially making it the first rap album of 2021 to spend five weeks atop the chart.
The record earned a total of 74,000 equivalent album units in the week ending October 28, including 73,000 in streaming equivalent album units — which translates to 99.9 million on-demand streams of the songs — and less than 1,000 units each for album sales and track equivalent album units. Certified Lover Boy now matches the record of Scorpion but is still many weeks away from the record of Views, which logged 13 weeks at No. 1 in 2016.
Other new entries on this week’s top 10 include Lana Del Rey‘s Blue Banisters, which debuted at No. 8 with 33,000 equivalent album units, and Elton John’s collaborative The Lockdown Sessions at No. 10 as it earned 29,000 equivalent album units.
Elsewhere on the chart, Morgan Wallen jumps to No. 2 followed by Doja Cat, NBA YoungBoy and Olivia Rodrigo, while Moneybagg Yo, Young Thug and Lil Nas X make up the bottom half of this week’s top 10, respectively.
Elsewhere in music, Kanye West revived Sunday Service with performances from Justin Bieber and Roddy Ricch.
