New billboards supporting the release of Drake‘s Certified Lover Boy has confirmed a number of notable guest features.
As shared on Instagram, the promotional billboards, set up in different parts of the country read, “HEY ATLANTA, SLIME, PLUTO, SAVAGE, AND BABY ARE ON CLB,” “HEY CHICAGO, SMURK IS ON CLB,” “HEY NEW YORK, THE GOAT IS ON CLB,” “HEY CALIFORNIA, GIVEON AND TY DOLLA ARE ON CLB” and “HEY MEMPHIS, YEBBA AND PROJECT PAT ARE ON CLB.” Hip-hop fans can deduce that the nicknames allude to rappers Young Thug, Future, 21 Savage and Lil Baby, all of whom are considered Atlanta natives, Lil Durk who hails from Chicago, while “The GOAT” from New York could be JAY-Z. 21 Savage and Durkio both confirmed their appearances by sharing the billboard on their Instagram, tagging Drizzy in the caption.
CLB is finally scheduled to release on September 3 after a bit of a delay due to the OVO head’s recovery from his knee surgery. He confirmed the release date in a cryptic SportsCenter trailer in late August before taking to social media to officially announce the date and the album cover, which was done by British contemporary artist Damien Hirst.
