Drake continues to prep for the release of his upcoming album For All the Dogs with the surprise single, “8AM IN CHARLOTTE.”
Debuting the visual on his Instagram, it opens with the rapper’s son, Adonis, talking about an art work he created that features the illustration that became the cover art of For All the Dogs. The young boy stands next to his dad for the rest of the music video, sporting a “HATE SURVIVOR” T-shirt, alluding to a social media post his father recently made. Meanwhile, track itself hears Drizzy rapping over a simple looped sample and some piano as he talks about personal stories, and even gave a shoutout to his good friend 21 Savage.
Watch the visual below. Drake’s For All the Dogs drops October 6.
Elsewhere in music, Ms. Lauryn Hill added new dates to her ongoing tour.
