Drake has dropped a music video for the For All The Dogs song, “Polar Opposites.” Compared to the bulk of the project, the single hears Drake woefully singing – even going into a falsetto on some notes – over a piano melody and subtle electronic mix.
In the music video, Drake keeps things fairly simple. The visual opens with a scan through the clouds before cutting to Drake at home.
Emphasizing the lonely theme of the song’s lyricism, the camera cuts between Drake gambling with friends and chilling by the pool to shots of him standing on his rooftop balcony by himself.
“Sun is setting on the Atlantic, I bet a full moon is gonna show / Wondering what rocks your boat,” he sings. “What keeps your heavy heart afloat / I don’t know, I don’t know.”
For All The Dogs arrived in October as Drake’s eighth studio album. He followed the release earlier this month with For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition, also known as Scary Hours 3, featuring six bonus tracks.
