Drake Drops Surprise Seventh Studio Album ‘HONESTLY, NEVERMIND’

Drake Drops Surprise Seventh Studio Album ‘HONESTLY, NEVERMIND’

Drake has officially dropped off his Certified Lover Boy followup, HONESTLY, NEVERMIND.

Clocking in at approximately 50 minutes, the 14-track project features a sole guest appearance from 21 Savage on the closing track “Jimmy Cook’s” and production work from the likes of Tay Keith, Gordo, Noah “40” Shebib and Black Coffee to name a few, with the last two also serving as executive producers alongside Drizzy, Oliver El-Khatib and Noel Cadastre. The Boy surprised fans by announcing the album less than 12 hours before its release, and no hints or rumors regarding the new project made its way to the internet.

HONESTLY, NEVERMIND arrives only nine months after the GRAMMY-nominated Certified Lover Boy, which featured a Damien Hirst-designed album cover that sees 12 pregnant women emojis. The record included appearances from Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Giveon, Jay-Z, Travis Scott, Future, Young Thug, Yebba, 21 Savage, Project Pat, Tems, Ty Dolla Sign, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross and Kid Cudi, and went on to debut at No. 1 and held the record for the largest opening week of a 2021 album.

Stream Drake’s HONESTLY, NEVERMIND on Spotify and Apple Music.

In other music news, a release date for Beyoncé’s new album, RENAISSANCE, has been announced.
