Drake is honoring some of Canada’s most celebrated artists at October World Weekend, unveiling the “All Canadian North Stars” lineup.
Set to take place on July 28 at History, his music club that opened last November, the lineup features the likes of Choclair, Jully Black, Kardinall Offishall, Maestro Fresh Wes, Keshia Chanté and more, along with Detroit natives Frank-N-Dank who are honorary Toronto natives as they spent time there in the early 2000s. “A celebration of the music that paved the way for all of us,” Drizzy wrote on Instagram.
October World Weekend appears to be an extension of The Boy’s OVO Fest and will also include shows with Chris Brown, Lil Baby and a Young Money reunion with Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj.
Check out the line up below. October World Weekend takes place July 28 to August 1.
Elsewhere in music, Consequence claims JAY-Z once wanted to sign him.
