Drake Calls on Other Artists to Rap Over ‘For All the Dogs: Scary Hours Edition’ Instrumentals

Drake has put out a call for artists to hop on the instrumentals of his latest project, For All the Dogs: Scary Hours Edition.

The Boy took to Instagram Stories to announce EP’s instrumental album. “I wanna hear who’s barring up,” he wrote, debuting the cover art for the release. Scary Hours Edition, which marks the third installment in his EP series, features six brand new tracks including a second feature from J. Cole on “Evil Ways.” OVO’s Noel Cadastre, NBA star Kevin Durant and Drizzy serve as executive producers.

This instrumental album may be the last release from Drake for a while; he stated in early October that he will be taking a break from new music due to some health issues. “I’ve been having the craziest problems with my stomach for years. I need to get right, I have a lot of other things I would love to focus on so I’m going to lock the door on the studio for a little bit. I don’t know what a little bit is. Maybe a year or something. Maybe a little bit longer,” he said.

The instrumentals are available to download for free on DrakeRelated.

Elsewhere in music, RZA spoke to Hypebeast about the influence of Wu-Tang Clan’s 36 Chambers, 30 years later.
