Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR are officially working on a joint album.
The news was confirmed by the OVO head himself, who made the announcement as a guest performer at PARTY’s Toronto show. “On behalf of me and Party, we’ve been working on something for y’all,” he shared. “So, you get the summer over with, you do what you need to do. I know all you girls are outside. When it gets a little chilly, PartyNextDoor and Drake album will be waiting right there for you.”
Drizzy performed a special all-R&B set at the end of PND’s show where he also debuted “Wah Gwan Delilah” — the strange “remix” of the Plain White T’s classic — live. “I’m here tonight as a thank you,” he added, “to each and every one of you for all your years of unwavering support.”
The announcement was made shortly after it was reported that Drake and Conductor Williams are set to drop their joint album later this year.
