Donald Glover has announced that he is postponing the rest of his North American dates for his final Childish Gambino tour.
Taking to social media, he wrote on X, “Hey everyone. Unfortunately i have to postpone the rest of the North American tour to focus on my physical health for a few weeks. Hold onto your tickets. ALL tickets will be honored for the upcoming dates in North America when they are rescheduled. Thanks for the privacy. Thanks for the support. Thanks for the love.” Fans have shown their support for Glover as he takes a rest from the tour.
So far, the North American tour only has a month remaining, with the next date originally scheduled for Austin before heading to the West Coast and Midwest before its final date on October 3 in Chicago. The tour is also scheduled to hit Europe and then New Zealand and Australia starting in November through to February 2025. The “New World” tour is expected to be Glover’s final project as his Childish Gambino persona and it includes his latest album Bando Stone and the New World, an upcoming film of the same name and a re-release of his 3.15.2020 album.
The dates have not yet been rescheduled for the rest of the North American tour but it will likely be next year.
