The country music legend explains how her husband helped influence which songs made the new record before chatting about the track “World On Fire,” one of a handful of original tracks made for the album. She dives into some of the cover choices, too, revealing she attempted to reunite the members Led Zeppelin just like she did The Beatles on her version of “Let It Be.”

“Yeah, I tried. I got Ringo (Starr) and Paul (McCartney), so I’m proud about that,” she says of getting Robert Plant and Jimmy Page back together. “But I didn’t get them. I did like them. But I asked them!”

She also discusses how she modeled her early costumes and look after a local woman in her hometown, nicknamed the “town tramp,” and not understanding why people looked down on her. “When I was very young, when we would get a chance to go to town, there was this woman they called the ‘town tramp,’ and I thought she was the prettiest thing I ever looked at,” she says of the woman. “People said, ‘Oh, she’s just trash,’ and in my mind I thought that was just a word for how she looked. And so, in my mind, I thought, ‘That’s what I’m gonna be when I grow up, is trash.’”
