DJ Khaled, Lil Baby, Future and Lil Uzi Vert Enlist Their Mini-Mes for "Supposed to Be Loved" Video

Ever wondered what DJ Khaled, Future, Lil Baby and Lil Uzi Vert looked like in their prepubescent primes? Look no further. This morning, Nickelodeon premiered the music video for “Supposed to Be Loved”, which features not the rappers themselves, but rather the younger versions of themselves throwing a grade-A house party.

“Got you a little somethin’,” mini Khaled tells his love interest, presenting her with a boxed ring pop. “I’ll treat you like you supposed to be loved… Us together, we the best.” All the boys roll out onto the house’s red carpet, with mini Uzi even rocking the forehead jewel and their infamous hair spikes.

Directed by Daps, the video also sees periodic interludes throughout the song of the young rappers talking about what love means to them. “It’s not like a commercial where you have to act it out. It’s just real,” little Lil Baby shares.

Baby takes his lady to a romantic, candlelit, poolside dinner, complete with an ornate display of chicken nuggets and fries. He spits bars across the table as his date pours fruit punch into her wine glass. For Future’s verse, the young rapper dons his signature sunglasses and impresses his date with a caged tiger.

“She know I’m a thug, she don’t treat me like no rapper / See you comin’ up, I can make that sh*t faster / Smooth operator, I ain’t tryna be no b*stard (smooth operator) / Yeah, I’m tryna love you like you ‘posed to be loved,” Baby leads on the chorus, as the rappers flex in the middle of the estate party, complete with acrobats, gymnasts and a photo booth.

Uzi meets their match ahead of their verse as well. The rapper shows off their dance moves and crafts a striking unicorn grass sculpture, successfully winning over his love interest, who also rocks her own forehead jewel. The interviewer asks young Uzi what he has to say about love, to which he simply responds: “I love love.”
